Jets claim Ricky Foley off waivers

The New York Jets have addressed their pass rushing situation, claiming former CFL star defensive end Ricky Foley(notes) off waivers today from the Seattle Seahawks.
Foley recorded a dozen sacks last season for the British Columbia Lions in the CFL and was honored as the top football jersey
Canadian player by the league.
Foley is known for his aggressiveness and active style of play.
The Jets are still expected to pursue linebacker Adalius Thomas(notes) after the first week of Denver Broncos jersey
the regular season.
"I think we're on the wait mode right now," Jets coach Rex Ryan told reporters today. "Let's see how we get through this game and let's take a good look at our roster and evaluate there."
